We work directly with 20+ municipalities and 50+ jurisdictions, operate highly regulated facilities in 10+ locations, and have 1,000+ employees.    We are seeking an experienced, successful, and engaged Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This position is expected to work out of our office at 2450 N. 1st Street, Suite 300, San Jose, CA.  Limited job-related travel may be required. Position Summary  The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, engage, and hire top talent. This role partners with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develops effective sourcing strategies, and delivers an exceptional candidate experience. The Talent Acquisition Specialist also plays a key role in promoting the employer brand, building talent pipelines, and ensuring that hiring practices align with organizational values and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities * Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, extending offers, completing pre-hire and new hire orientation process. * Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and establish selection criteria. * Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, and referrals. * Conduct candidate assessments and coordinate interviews with stakeholders. * Ensure a positive candidate experience through clear communication and timely follow-up. * Maintain accurate recruitment metrics and provide regular reporting to HR leadership. * Organize and attend career fairs and hiring events within and outside of standard work hours. * Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and company policies.   Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Strong organizational and time-management skills. * Keen attention to detail.   * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels. * Results-driven with a focus on meeting hiring goals. * High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity. * Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. * Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring practices.   Qualifications * Associate’s degree in human resources, business or related field required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.   * SHRM-CP and/or PHR required. * 2+ years of full-cycle recruitment or talent acquisition experience  * Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ADP WFN a plus), HRIS, and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.). * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions and prioritize competing deadlines. * Knowledge of employment law and recruiting best practices.   Language Skill:   * Proficiency in English and/or Spanish.    Physical Demands:   * Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. * Ability to physically push, pull and lift objects up to 20lbs. * Prolonged standing or walking (events).
