This is an exciting year of growth for our team at Howard Smith Wharves, marked by the opening of new venues. We have a rare opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the talent team.
In this role you will play a key role in assisting with managing the end-to-end recruitment process for a high volume of roles as Artemus Group continues its growth trajectory. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Partner, you’ll be responsible for coordinating job postings, applicant screening, managing candidate communications, scheduling interviews, strategic sourcing and maintaining accurate recruitment processes.

Responsibilities
  • Post job ads across multiple platforms (Seek, LinkedIn, Scout Talent, company website, etc.)
  • Responsible for strategic sourcing initiatives to attract top talent across key roles
  • Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on selection criteria
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers
  • Conduct initial phone screens for entry-level and casual roles
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) throughout the recruitment process
  • Track recruitment pipelines
  • Ensure timely, professional communication with all applicants
  • Guide candidates through the recruitment process with clear next steps
  • Conduct the onboarding process by preparing contracts, forms, and onboarding packs
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand role briefs and staffing needs
  • Provide regular updates on role progress and candidate pipelines
  • Assist with organising group interviews, trial shifts, or assessment days
  • Contribute to careers content (e.g. social posts, job ad copy, website updates)
  • Support internal recruitment campaigns and seasonal hiring drives
  • Assist with events such as job fairs, open days
  • Help maintain the careers page and employer branding assets
