Description
2+ years experience in talent acquisition in the financial sector/insurance industry across Canada.
Experience within a staffing agency and/or corporate recruiting environment and/ or a customer contact centre environment.
Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Workday, and online job board such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
Experience with internet sourcing/advertising, direct sourcing, trade journal/newspaper advertising, employee referral campaigns, and job fairs
University degree, college diploma, or equivalent work experience.
Proven ability to develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies that build the candidate pipeline and guide the recruitment process to closure.
Demonstrated ability to establish credibility, collaborate with and influence hiring leaders while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and candidates.
Strong influencing and negotiating skills to present alternative solutions and minimize high-risk situations.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
High sense of urgency with strong orientation towards customer support.
Ability to work with tight timelines and meet deadlines.
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
Understanding the dynamics of a matrix organization.
Strong MS Office Skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
