Job Details Job Location: Marietta, OH 45750 Position Type: Salary Job Shift: 8-Hour Day Shift Job Category: Professional In an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, identifying, and attracting individuals for various roles within our organization. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times. Job Functions: Coordinates with hiring managers to identify staffing needs in different areas and departments across the organization. Develops effective recruiting plans and strategies and tracks outcomes based on SMART goals. Conducts regular follow-ups with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation Defining sourcing strategies as to know where the candidates will come from to fill specific roles as well as develops talent pools of qualified candidates in advance of needs. Building positive candidate experiences and manages candidate communities. Screens applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements. Tracks and uses key metrics to drive continuous improvements regarding recruitment decisions and the quality of hires. Collaborates with employment team and hiring managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions, postings, and hiring criteria. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions. Networks through health care industry contacts, local markets, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees. Completes special projects as assigned by Director of Human Resources. Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary. Qualifications Minimum Education/Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree in human resource or a related field required. Will consider high school diploma with minimum of three (3) years of related experience, preferably in a human resource department. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred. SHRMs Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus. Special Knowledge, Skills, Training: Communication, interpersonal and numeric skills and basic computer knowledge.
