Description The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing and executing recruiting activities to attract, screen, and onboard qualified candidates. This role works closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, publishes job postings, schedules and coordinates interviews, and handles new hire paperwork to ensure a smooth onboarding process. Requirements Partner with hiring managers to gather and clarify job requirements; draft or revise job descriptions and hiring criteria. Post job openings on internal and external job boards, social media, company website, etc. Source candidates via multiple channels: job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, etc. Screen resumes/applications for minimum qualifications and fit. Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, including arranging travel or virtual meetings if needed. Serve as a point-of-contact for candidates through the recruiting process; communicate status updates and feedback. Manage applicant tracking system (ATS) to maintain data, update candidate statuses, and report on recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-fill, applicant pipeline). Prepare and send new hire paperwork: offer letters, background checks, employment verification, new hire orientation materials. Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and equal employment opportunity (EEO) standards. Occasionally assist with employer branding activities (e.g. representing the company at job fairs, maintaining careers page).
