Your role
As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Operations and Manufacturing Recruiter is responsible for planning and executing recruiting activities for non-exempt manufacturing professionals and may be located within commuting distance to any location listed at the end of this job posting, allowing for on-site visits and a hybrid work schedule.
In this role you will be responsible for leading the sourcing and recruitment efforts for high volume recruiting needs for the designated region, across divisions. This role will build relationships and work closely with Hiring Managers to define sourcing strategies, gather and understand the position requirements to effectively identify talent that is aligned with the scope and responsibilities of the role. When partnering with the hiring manager, you will serve as a primary source of recruitment advice, consultation and education on best practices to fill roles in the most efficient and effective way possible.
The function of this role is to identify qualified candidates and manage the process from position opening through offer acceptance and onboarding. You will develop and execute progressive integrated recruitment solutions using multiple avenues including direct sourcing, social networking, industry networking, employee referrals, Internet sourcing, trade job fairs, targeted advertising, college and community outreach. You will manage internal and external job posting procedures, capturing applicant flow accurately and consistently leveraging the applicant tracking system. You will utilize your influencing, interpersonal, selling and closing skills to encourage candidates to recognize Symrise as an Employer of Choice.

Skills And Responsibilities

  • Source active and passive candidates from various resources, including but not limited to, direct sourcing, employee referrals, traditional media, job fairs, and internet job boards.
  • Develop innovative marketing strategies to create brand awareness to target passive and active candidates.
  • Manage full life cycle recruiting processes to include sourcing, engaging the candidate, interviewing and closing candidates.
  • Build relationships with external partnerships to include community contacts, college officials and local professionals.
  • Maintain and build strong partnerships with manufacturing managers to understand their hiring needs to ensure staffing goals.
  • Travel to various manufacturing sites as needed.
