Description Park Place of Elmhurst, a continuing care senior community, is seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist. The primary purpose of this position is to recruit for our beautiful senior living community. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will source potential candidates, guide applicants through a hiring process, work with management to develop hiring strategies, and produce metrics and data on recruitment activities. This position will require the TA to come to the table with a sound plan for recruiting healthcare and will report directly to the VP of Operations and our Executive Director. This is not a remote position. Link to Benefits for Full Time Employees: https://www.providencelifeservices.com/application/files/9517/3342/6965/PLS_HR_Benefits_Flyer_IL_IN.pdf Summary of essential job functions: Attracts applicants utilizing traditional job sites, mainly Indeed as well as being versed in social media venues (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) for searching methods. Identifies new and creative ways to source viable candidates including: directories, contact lists, database leads, internet resources and personal networking. Develops an active pool of candidates who are ready to meet the needs of our organization. Builds relationships with local colleges and universities by attending career events, job fairs, and on campus/virtual interview opportunities. Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements. Arranges interviews with hiring managers by coordinating schedules. Maintains accurate and timely documentation of candidate progress in applicant tracking system (Paylocity). Maintains knowledge of benefit plans, incentives, corporate and facility policies as well as addresses applicant inquiries. May extend the job offer and other incentives, manages counter offers as necessary. Coordinate with marketing department to ensure the needs of outreach and recruiting materials. Partner and consult with hiring managers to identify long-term and short-term staffing needs. Requirements Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources or Business Administration. A minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, particular in the healthcare industry. Long Term Care recruitment preferred. Familiar with Recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed and Facebook.
