The Talent Acquisition Specialist partners with Talent Acquisition Team Lead to develop and execute a grassroots talent acquisition strategy. The position plays a key role in the day to day activities of the Talent Acquisition team and is responsible for full cycle recruitment, while ensuring a positive candidate experience that sets Performance Auto Group apart from other dealership groups. You are considered the subject matter expert in recruitment and selection and provide direct support to hiring managers. You are a high energy, results oriented individual with ambition to drive the talent demands to directly support the needs of Performance Auto Groups business units.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

• University Degree or College Diploma
• Successful completion of a post-secondary program in Human Resources
• CHRP Designation is an asset
• 3-5 years in a full cycle recruitment role
• Automotive industry recruitment experience is highly desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to small and mid size groups for long periods of time
• Positive “can-do” attitude with ability to work confidently under pressure and manage changing/competing priorities
• Exceptional organizational, planning and administrative skills;
• Proven time management skills with the ability to take initiative in the development and completion of assigned projects and duties
• Strong computer skills including google applications with aptitude to learn and embrace the use of technology
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in drafting offer letters and job descriptions
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs and demands with the willingness to work longer hours as circumstances require
• Demonstrates utmost professionalism in the performance of duties
• Discretion is mandatory as the role involves access to highly confidential information
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver’s License and good driving record

THIS COMPENSATION RANGE WILL BE BASED ON KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent
Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
