OVERVIEW:

As Retail Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for our Retail populations - both current and new store requirements. With a focus on recruitment for our UK operational stores, you will also support the Retail Talent Acquisition Lead with New Store opening delivery plans across UK, EMEA and NAM.
Working closely with hiring managers, Store Leadership, the wider TA, and People teams, you will also collaborate with external providers to identify, attract, pipeline, and onboard top talent for our retail business.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Working with Retail TA Lead to execute the Talent strategy for new and existing Retail Stores
  • Identify best places to advertise the roles in different territories and work with external partners as required to deliver the recruitment strategy for each store
  • Developing engaging job adverts, posting internally and externally and identifying appropriate advertising channels – e.g. job boards, community groups, job centres etc
  • Liaising with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs, agreeing on a fair and equitable assessment process and timelines for hiring, providing training where required
  • Direct sourcing and filtering candidate as appropriate via LinkedIn searches and agency partnerships as required
  • Conducting initial phone/Teams interviews to assess candidate fit and provide recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Coordinating and scheduling interviews with candidates and hiring managers in line with agreed timeframes, and managing the communication with candidates throughout the process, providing updates in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring a smooth transition from offer stage to preboarding, keeping candidates warm and excited to join.
  • Collaborating with wider TA team to align on overall strategy, technology and AI adoption into processes, employer brand initiatives and tailor to retail needs.
  • Identifying partnering opportunities, coordinating and attending job fairs and recruitment events in new and existing territories- including assessment days
  • Providing the retail people team with insights/metrics to support with workforce planning activities.
  • Supporting the wider TA team as required with volume hiring campaigns across the Gymshark business including reviewing of applications, communication to candidates, scheduling of interviews, assessment days and management of offers.
