As the Talent Acquisition Specialist for Total Tool, you are responsible for full-cycle recruiting of the following types of positions; Warehouse Workers, Delivery Drivers, Rigging Specialists, Tool Mechanics, Customer Service Representatives, Outside Sales Representatives, and various professional positions. In this role, teamwork and collaboration are key. You will work closely with other members of the HR Department and will partner with hiring teams throughout the recruitment process.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Consult with hiring managers and develop effective strategies for filling open positions.
- Post and maintain job postings through the applicant tracking system JazzHR and external job boards.
- Screens applications, conducts phone screens, and schedules interviews for hiring managers across the county.
- Utilize high-level recruiting tactics, such as sourcing, networking, and identifying and participating in local talent attraction opportunities.
- Facilitate and follow through on pre-employment and onboarding processes, including motor vehicle reports, background checks, and other required pre-employment paperwork.
- Administer assessments to candidates and help analyze results.
- Continuous and open communication with hiring managers to ensure the process is progressing.
- Maintain high-level recruiting tracking and work closely with the HR team to evaluate hiring and retention metrics.
- Trains hiring managers on best practices and internal processes as they relate to recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Attends career fairs and recruiting events to establish strong external networks.
- Assist employees with general Human Resources needs and questions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This is a primarily sedentary role, requiring sitting for extended periods of time while working on a computer.
- Employees must be able to communicate effectively in a typical office environment with a standard level of office noise. Occasional standing, bending, walking and lifting are also required.
