As the preeminent, multidisciplinary real estate forum, ULI facilitates the open exchange of ideas, information, and experience among local, regional, national, and international industry leaders and policy makers dedicated to creating better places. The mission of ULI is to shape the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide.
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to support ULI’s global recruitment efforts during an exciting period of organizational growth and transformation. Based in Washington, DC, this role plays a critical part in attracting and hiring top talent across a wide range of functions—from nonprofit leadership and marketing to research, fundraising, and member engagement.
Working closely with the Head of Talent Acquisition and hiring managers across the Institute, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will support full-cycle recruiting and operational excellence. This includes sourcing, screening, scheduling, and supporting hiring teams, while also contributing to continuous improvements in process efficiency, candidate experience, and employer branding.
This role is key to building consistent, equitable, and scalable recruitment practices that reflect and advance ULI’s mission and values.
At the Urban Land Institute, our mission includes the revitalization of the built environment and that begins with the thoughtful utilization of our own workspaces. As a global, member-driven organization focused on shaping the future of communities, we know that collaboration, innovation, and shared purpose thrive when we come together. That’s why we ask our employees to be in the office at least three days a week. This in-person engagement supports our mission, strengthens cross-functional partnerships, and reinforces the vibrant, inclusive culture that drives our work forward.
The salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $67,500. Actual compensation will be based on experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. This role is part of ULI’s comprehensive compensation package, which includes competitive benefits.
