Description

At NTI, we're committed to helping our people and business thrive. As Australia's leading specialist insurer, we know our success comes from the capability, passion and expertise of our people.

We're looking for a Talent Advisor (internally, Advisor - People & Capability) to join our People & Capability team and play a key role in attracting and retaining great talent. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves recruitment and enjoys building strong relationships both internally and with external candidates.

Whether you are an experienced coordinator (Recruitment or Generalist HR) ready to take the next step in your career, or a seasoned Talent Advisor looking for a fresh challenge in a collaborative and supportive environment, we'd love to hear from you!

What you'll love about the role:

This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact beyond traditional recruitment. As a key member of the People & Capability team, you'll enjoy high visibility across the business and work closely with leaders to shape how we attract and onboard talent at NTI.

You'll play an important role in the implementation of our new ATS and people systems, helping to refine recruitment processes, improve the candidate experience and embed new ways of working. Your ideas and insights will directly influence how recruitment is delivered into the future.

While recruitment is your primary focus, you'll also gain exposure to a broad range of People & Capability activities, providing opportunities to build your HR knowledge and develop your career in new directions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activity across multiple business areas
  • Conduct candidate phone screenings and support initial assessments
  • Coordinate and support interviews
  • Partner with hiring leaders to provide informed candidate recommendations and recruitment insights
  • Build talent pipelines and source candidates through multiple channels
  • Deliver a positive and professional candidate experience
  • Support the successful implementation of a new Applicant Tracking System
  • Provide general P&C advice and support across a range of people initiatives as required

What we’ll love about you:

You'll bring at least 2 years' experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or generalist HR, along with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to support the broader People & Capability team wherever needed. You're someone who enjoys building relationships, taking ownership and contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

You'll also bring:

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
  • A high level of attention to detail and organisation
  • A genuine interest in building your capability across both recruitment and broader HR disciplines
  • Experience with people systems, specifically HiBob, will be highly regarded
