  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, human resources, or accounting.
  • ACP (payroll) certification: major asset.
  • 3 to 5 years in complete QC/CA payroll cycle on Paie Desjardins.
  • Experience in professional services (architecture firm or similar), a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (advanced Excel) and comfort with HR/payroll tools.
  • Knowledge of legal obligations: CNESST, WSIB, pay equity, Bill 25, PAEE, francization, a plus.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) would be an asset, as you will also be called upon to work with our Ontario office.

As part of our company’s continuous development, we are looking for a Talent and Culture Specialist for our Talent and Culture team at the Montreal office. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of relevant experience and an interest in payroll processing and human resources support.

Responsibilities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - PAYROLL AND BENEFITS

  • Collect, validate, and import data into Paie Desjardins.
  • Manage enrollments, modifications, and terminations (insurance, RRSP).
  • Produce quarterly and year-end reports as required, in collaboration with the controller.
  • Act as the main point of contact for employee questions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - TALENT AND CULTURE

  • Write and distribute bilingual job postings and screen resumes.
  • Coordinate interviews, write interview frameworks and job offers, in collaboration with the Talent and Culture Director.
  • Actively contribute to internal processes: annual performance evaluation, new employee integration, engagement survey, training, pay equity and compliance.
  • Coordinate industrial safety processes.
