If you have the drive to thrive and truly make an impact, come and join a team where you can work directly with operational managers, support them with all thing's recruitment as a Talent & Capabilities Officer for our HR team based in cannon Hill Brisbane.   Key duties will involve: * Coordinating and managing the advertising of job vacancies for meat processing roles, including liaising with external recruitment platforms and regional workforce programs. * Screening, interviewing, and assessing applicants for operational and skilled roles within the beef processing facility, ensuring candidates meet industry requirements, physical capability standards, and compliance obligations. * Ensuring all employee records are accurately maintained and regularly updated within HR information systems. * Advising management on workplace relations issues in a meat processing setting, including handling employee performance matters, disciplinary processes, and ensuring adherence to applicable industry awards and employment regulations. * Coordinating onboarding and induction programs for new employees, including training on WHS, employment conditions, remuneration, and career development opportunities within the company. * Receiving and analysing job vacancy requirements, including role specifications, shift requirements, pay conditions, and production demands. * Communicating current employment opportunities to job seekers, including local and migrant workforce candidates, and providing guidance on job expectations, working conditions, and career pathways within the meat processing industry. * Assisting in negotiating employment terms and conditions in accordance with applicable awards and enterprise agreements, and supporting the resolution of workplace disputes and employee grievances. * Interpreting and applying relevant legislation, including workplace relations laws, WHS regulations, and industry-specific standards applicable to meat processing operations. * Supporting the development and implementation of enterprise agreements, workforce planning strategies, and productivity-based initiatives aligned with operational efficiency in a high-volume processing environment. * Facilitating employee engagement initiatives, including participation programs, safety committees, and consultation processes to support workforce retention and compliance within the facility.   Key Requirements: * Available Fulltime, Monday- Friday  * A Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
