Responsibilities
  • Own and lead the N Academy, managing its strategic direction and operational excellence.
  • Shape and evolve our full programme offer – including onboarding, induction, technical training, power skills, compliance learning and apprenticeships.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing innovation, fresh thinking, and new technologies to the way we learn.
  • Act as a key representative of The N Academy at regional, operational, and business-wide meetings.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to align learning with broader People & Talent strategies.
  • Design inclusive, scalable, and frustration-free learning experiences that meet current and future needs.
  • Lead the design and rollout of high-impact, multi-modal training programmes for all roles across the business;
  • Ensure all learning resources are easily accessible and well-communicated to teams.
  • Continuously develop and enhance our LMS/LXP offering.
  • Drive high-quality onboarding and induction programmes across the organisation.
  • Deliver content personally and equip others (via train-the-trainer) to scale impact across the business.
  • Line manage a small team – offering coaching, performance support, and development opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with DfE, Ofsted, and all relevant regulations – escalating issues as needed.
