Description

True Potential is at a pivotal point in its journey: we’re growing quickly, putting the right structures and foundations in place, and shaping what the future of work here will look like. Things are still evolving in our world of Financial Services, so you’ll have the chance to make a real impact, help build from the ground up, and influence how we do things for years to come. You’ll be part of a hardworking, supportive, and fun team that looks out for each other and thrives on collaboration. If you enjoy rolling up your sleeves, bringing fresh ideas, and being part of building something with the potential for huge impact, join us!
This is a newly created role as Talent & Development Manager – we’re really excited about this role as we’re building something special at True Potential; an agile, practical Talent & Development function that truly supports people to grow and perform. As Talent & Development Manager, you’ll play a critical role in delivering our talent and development agenda across the business.
This is a hands-on role with ownership over learning design, content development, and delivery. You’ll help lead the day-to-day execution of our learning initiatives from foundational training through to leadership and skills programmes.
You will report to our Head of Talent & Development, and this role offers hybrid working (2 to 3 days in the office per week) in our fabulous Newcastle based office.
You will bring experience leading the design and delivery of learning programmes across multiple formats (in-person, online, blended). With excellent project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams effectively your extensive Talent & Development experience will demonstrate your excellent facilitation and communication skills, with confidence engaging varied audiences. Being comfortable using data to track impact, report progress, and drive improvement, you will be a self-starter who enjoys working at pace and solving problems pragmatically. We would love you to bring familiarity with learning systems (LMS) – Redmill Advance is a bonus, digital tools, and content platforms.
We’re looking for an experienced Talent or L&D Lead who combines delivery confidence with practical design skills, excellent coordination, and a love of making things happen. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues in the T&D team and the wider People team to ensure our learning offer is impactful, well-run, and continuously improving.
Salary – up to £50k.
All direct applications will be forward to our Recruitment partner, Sullivan Brown.
