The Role Proofpoint is seeking a Talent Management Program Manager to drive strategic talent initiatives that enable organizational growth and ensure a robust pipeline of future leaders. This role encompasses managing and executing programs in succession planning, performance management, talent reviews, mentoring, and high-potential (HiPo) development. The Program Manager will collaborate with HR leaders and business stakeholders to align talent strategies with organizational objectives, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance program impact and effectiveness. Your Day-to-Day Develop and implement succession planning programs to maintain a steady pipeline of talent for critical roles across the organization. Collaborate with business leaders to identify successors, create tailored development plans, and monitor progress. Manage the performance management process, focusing on alignment with organizational goals and fostering continuous employee growth. Partner with HR and business leaders to conduct talent reviews, assessing potential, advancement readiness, and key development areas. Design and oversee mentoring programs to support the growth of future leaders and high-potential employees. Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to align talent selection processes with organizational succession and leadership development goals. Work with Learning & Development (L&D) teams to design and implement targeted development programs for high-potential employees, ensuring alignment with business needs and future roles. Use data and analytics to measure the impact of talent management initiatives, refining programs based on insights to demonstrate return on investment (ROI). Stay informed on industry best practices and trends in talent management, applying them to continuously enhance Proofpoint’s talent strategies. What You Bring to the Team Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of experience in talent management, succession planning, performance management, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a program management role. Proven expertise in talent management, including succession planning, HiPo development, and performance management. Experience designing and managing mentoring and leadership development programs. Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to assess program effectiveness and guide decision-making. Excellent project management capabilities to oversee multiple programs simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with experience working effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leaders. Familiarity with assessment tools and methodologies to identify and develop talent.
