Job Title: Talent Operations Manager Location: Amira Choice Arvada Co Salary: $52,000-$58,000 annually Position Summary The Talent Operations Manager leads the full lifecycle of direct care staffing, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and workforce optimization. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless and positive candidate and employee experience while maintaining appropriate staffing levels to support high-quality resident care and operational efficiency. This position works closely with community leadership to align staffing strategies with occupancy, acuity, and budget expectations, while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and service excellence. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Applicant Flow * Manage full-cycle recruitment for direct care staff, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring * Ensure timely, consistent communication with candidates to deliver an excellent applicant experience * Partner with leadership to proactively identify staffing needs and implement effective recruitment strategies * Maintain applicant tracking systems and ensure accurate documentation Onboarding & Orientation * Oversee onboarding from offer acceptance through orientation * Coordinate and/or facilitate new hire orientation to ensure a welcoming, organized experience * Partner with the Business Office Manager to ensure completion of all pre-employment requirements * Support early engagement and retention through regular check-ins during the first 90 days Scheduling & Staffing Management * Develop and manage staff schedules based on resident needs, occupancy, and acuity * Proactively adjust schedules to address call-offs, open shifts, and operational changes * Ensure fair and equitable scheduling practices * Assist with direct care as needed to support staffing coverage and quality care * Coordinate after-hours and weekend staffing needs and respond to urgent gaps * Serve as a point of contact for staffing-related issues outside standard business hours Overtime & Workforce Optimization * Monitor and manage overtime in alignment with budget expectations * Identify trends and implement strategies to improve staffing efficiency and reduce overtime Compliance & Communication * Ensure hiring, onboarding, and scheduling practices comply with all policies and regulations * Partner with the Business Office Manager to maintain accurate employee records * Provide regular updates on hiring progress, staffing levels, and workforce challenges Employee Retention & Engagement * Develop and implement strategies to improve retention and reduce turnover * Lead employee engagement efforts, including stay interviews and feedback collection * Partner with leadership to address staffing challenges and foster a positive work environment Qualifications * High school diploma required; Associate degree in a related field preferred * Experience in recruiting, staffing, scheduling, or workforce management required * Healthcare or senior living experience preferred * Strong organizational and time management skills * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment * Experience with scheduling and applicant tracking systems preferred Work Environment & Requirements * Community-based role with frequent interaction with staff and leadership * Requires flexibility in scheduling based on staffing needs * Includes evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities as needed Why Join Us? * Opportunity to shape and lead staffing operations within a growing community * Collaborative leadership and team-focused culture * Direct impact on employee experience and resident care quality * Competitive salary and professional growth opportunities * Full benefit package and 401K Apply today to make a meaningful impact on both team members and residents at Amira Choice Arvada!
