POSITION SUMMARY:

The Talent Operations Specialist plays a key role in implementing core Talent Management strategies and programs that drive associate development, performance, and engagement. This role supports the operational delivery of enterprise-wide talent processes – such as talent review, succession planning, and high-potential leadership development – while ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience for leaders and associates. The ideal candidate is diligent, collaborative, and passionate about delivering scalable solutions that bring talent strategy to life.
This position reports into our HR Operations - Talent Operations team. You will work with the Talent Center of Excellence (COE), HR Business Partners, HR Technology/HRIS, Field Leaders, and vendor partners to support and enable our talent processes and programs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related area of study.
  • 2+ years of experience in Talent Management or related program support role. Talent Acquisition / Recruiter is a different role.
  • Proven experience in implementing talent management tools, including experience with Workday, Hogan assessments, and Medallia software.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 software (Outlook, Excel, Teams).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth company preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize many projects at once.
  • Ability to develop solid relationships and influence without authority.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Confident, entrepreneurial spirit, who enjoys diving in headfirst.
  • Ability to work with all levels of associates, with minimal direction, in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Primarily perform and act as the operational subject matter expert (SME) on annual talent processes including Talent Review, Calibration, Succession Planning, and Leadership Development/Development Planning.
  • Support the rollout of talent initiatives by managing timelines, communications, systems testing, reports, knowledge articles, and learning resources and toolkits.
  • Proven experience in implementing talent management tools, specifically with Workday, Hogan assessments, and Medallia software.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs and COEs to ensure consistent execution and alignment with overall talent strategy.
  • Deliver reporting and key metrics related to talent programs, ensuring accuracy and insights for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct post-program after action reviews
  • Support the implementation of Associate Culture and Engagement, Career Pathing, Performance Management, Onboarding, Early Career strategies as needed.
  • Assist with the administration of talent assessments, coaching and leadership development tools and presentations.
  • Provide operational support for third-party vendors tied to Talent programs.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to innovating and enhancing the associate and leader experience.
  • Coordinate Talent Review process by leading the project’s Talent workstream, delivering process communication and reporting to executive leadership, HRBPs, and the organization.
  • Assist in the development, tracking, and communication of the annual Succession Planning process
