About the role The General Administrative Support Officer provides the delivery of efficient and effective general administration, clerical support, and receptionist services with a focus on quality services to commands/business units. The General Administrative Support Officer (GASO) is a key position in supporting the Command and should be an allrounder with strong attention to detail and a great communicator. The role covers many different areas and, in some instances, you will be dealing with situations that require a short turnaround. The position is fast paced but exciting. You could be working the front counter with sworn officers, attending court processing duties, simple finance, correspondence processing, stores management or archiving. The hours are roster based and can change as per need of the operational requirements. This Talent Pool is being created for future Ongoing or Temporary roles that may arise over the next 18 months. Placement in the Talent Pool remains valid for 18 months. There is no guarantee of employment as a result of this Talent Pool.
