Job Title: Light Duty / Day Porter Cleaner - Fulltime, Parttime, Contract or Temporary
Location: Various Locations within Greater Toronto Area
Schedule: Days and Times to be discussed, based on business requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & ABILITIES:

  • Previous commercial or heavy-duty cleaning experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safe chemical handling (WHMIS an asset).
  • Experience with commercial cleaning equipment is beneficial.
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Physically able to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods..
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check

ABOUT THE ROLE:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Perform comprehensive cleaning, dusting, and sanitization of all facility areas and all high touch points, including offices, washrooms, kitchens, hallways, lobbies, and common spaces. This includes all surfaces, countertops, tables, fixtures, glass, and high-touch points.
  • Ensure all consumables (example, soap, paper towels, etc.) are restocked.
  • Maintain all floors by sweeping mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and promptly address spills.
  • Manage the collection and disposal of all waste and recycling from across the facility, ensuring it is transported to designated areas according to company protocols.
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including proper chemical handling and use of PPE. Maintain cleaning equipment, report any maintenance or supply needs, and respond to cleaning requests as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
