Description MATT Construction, the General Contractor that built such iconic Los Angeles structures as The Broad Museum and Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, is seeking a Talent Resources Generalist to join our team. The Talent Resources Generalist is responsible for providing coordination and administrative support across the Talent Department, with emphasis in Talent Acquisition, Training & Organizational Development (T&OD), Employee Onboarding and Cross-boarding, and general Talent operations. The role also supports administrative needs of the MATT corporate office as required. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition – Recruiting & Hiring Coordinates and supports campus recruiting events and activities to maintain a pipeline for internship and Project Engineer roles Recruits for experienced staff roles across the company in partnership with Talent leadership and hiring managers Participates in career fairs, information sessions, on-campus events, and professional association engagements Manages event logistics, registrations, scheduling, travel, and participant coordination Networks with campus affinity groups and industry-specific student organizations Partners with Operations leaders to identify project assignments for interns and new hires Assists with intern program events and support activities Executes the administrative recruiting lifecycle, including preparing and extending offers, initiating background checks, completing I-9/E-Verify processes, and submitting vendor invoices Onboarding & Employee Transitions Supports new-hire onboarding, cross-boarding, and exit activities Ensures quality onboarding experiences through coordination, communication, and system readiness Talent Systems & Record Management Enters and maintains employee records in numerous Talent and enterprise systems Maintains SharePoint materials including updates to Talent resources, policies, and forms Generates weekly recruiting activity reports and other Talent reporting as needed Assist with preparing Talent dashboard analytics General Talent Administration Tracks expenses and monitors Talent program budgets Manages MATT SWAG inventory Administers the Company Service Recognition Program Ensures labor-law poster compliance across offices and jobsites Drafts promotional text for Talent offerings for internal newsletters MATT Benefits Include: Yearly Bonus/Deferred Compensation eligible Robust and affordable insurance plan options 401(k) with matching Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Paid Time Off Education reimbursement Student Loan paydown plan Requirements Bachelor’s degree required Minimum 2 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR coordination, Training & Development, or related field Strong analytical and data reporting skills Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, and Talent Management systems Proficient in Microsoft office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple priorities with accuracy and maintain confidentiality Ability to travel to project sites as needed
