As a Talent Segment Lead, you’ll play an enterprise role in ensuring Westpac has the critical skills and talent pipelines required to deliver todays strategy and support future capability needs. You’ll lead the identification, prioritisation and ongoing management of Westpac’s priority talent segments, including critical skill groups, high-potential cohorts and emerging capability areas. Using workforce data, market and business insight, you’ll assess where capability gaps and talent risks exist and design practical, targeted approaches to address them. This role sits across strategy and delivery, working closely with People Partners and business leaders to embed segment strategies into business‑level talent plans, while maintaining an enterprise view to support consistency, scale and alignment across the Group. This is a full‑time role based in Sydney (also open to Melbourne and Brisbane), offering flexible working and the opportunity to make meaningful impact for our people.   What do I need? You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working across strategy and delivery, using data and insight to shape talent approaches and partnering with others to turn plans into action and action into outcomes. You’ll bring: * Experience designing and shaping talent strategies or initiatives within large or complex organisations. * Strong understanding of enterprise talent practices, and experiencing designing targeted talent solutions that successfully build talent pipelines to address talent risk over the short and long term.  * Confidence using workforce data, insights and market intelligence to inform segmentation decisions and prioritisation. * Strong partnering and influencing capability, with experience working closely with People Partners and senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment.   Why join us?
