Our client, an energy trading business, is seeking a Talent Sourcing & Research Specialist to support recruitment across Europe.

Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Lead, you will identify and engage specialist talent, build candidate pipelines and deliver market intelligence to support current and future hiring needs.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop sourcing strategies across trading, origination, technology, corporate and leadership roles.
• Identify and engage passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, advanced Boolean search and specialist networks.
• Conduct talent mapping, competitor analysis and research into talent availability and compensation trends.
• Produce candidate shortlists and market insight reports to inform hiring decisions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements and build long-term candidate relationships.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and track sourcing activity and pipeline performance.
• Candidate requirements:
• Experience in talent sourcing, recruitment research, executive search or talent intelligence.
• A track record of identifying and engaging passive candidates in specialist markets.
• Strong knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search and direct sourcing techniques.
• Excellent research, communication and organisational skills.
• Experience using ATS, CRM or candidate tracking systems.

Experience within energy trading, commodities, financial markets or another specialist technical environment is particularly relevant. Candidates from broader recruitment research or executive search backgrounds will also be considered where they demonstrate strong sourcing capability. European hiring experience would be advantageous.
