Description

TALENT SOURCING SPECIALIST

Location: Remote (UK-based) or any of our UK offices (Hybrid)
Salary: £30,000 per year
Employment type: 40 hours per week, initial 3 month fixed term contract
About Us: At Lucion, we’re more than just a workplace. We’re a purpose-driven, forward-thinking organisation helping clients manage risk and create safer, more sustainable environments. Our teams work across environmental consultancy, geotechnical engineering, ecology, hazordous material surveying and we’re growing - fast!
To keep pace with our ambitious plans, we’re looking for a Talent Sourcing Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team on an initial 3 month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves building candidate pipelines, using innovative sourcing strategies, and connecting top talent with meaningful careers.
The Role: This position will focus heavily on proactive sourcing rather than generalist recruitment administration. You’ll work closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and Hiring Managers to identify, engage, and nurture candidates across multiple business areas

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone passionate about recruitment, data-driven sourcing, and candidate engagement. You’ll thrive on finding the “hard-to-find” talent and enjoy using different sourcing methods creatively.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in recruitment (in-house, RPO, or agency).
  • Ideally experience recruiting asbestos surveyors or similar environmental surveying roles.
  • Demonstrable sourcing expertise — LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, talent pools.
  • Strong written communication skills to engage candidates professionally.
  • Comfortable on the phone cold-calling candidates and conducting screening calls.
  • Collaborative approach, able to share market insights with the wider TA team.
  • Familiarity with ATS systems (Tribepad preferred).
Responsibilities
  • Partnering with hiring managers to understand workforce plans and hiring needs.
  • Building and maintaining proactive pipelines of candidates for niche and high-volume roles.
  • Using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, talent pools, and direct outreach to attract candidates.
  • Creating engaging candidate communications and ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
  • Market mapping and competitor research to inform sourcing strategies.
  • Maintaining accurate candidate records in our ATS (Tribepad).
