We have a fabulous new opportunity for a Talent Specialist, for our Internal Recruitment Team.
As a Talent Specialist in Lookers, you will join a friendly and supportive internal team who will ensure that from day one you have all the help, tools, and information you need to be a success in the role. You will be given full autonomy to manage your own recruitment desk, whether that be from home or from our head office in Team Valley which you will be required to work at 3 days a week.
Ideally you will enjoy speaking to people as you look to attract great candidates into Lookers and feel a sense of pride when you find the right position for them within the business. Talent Specialists in Lookers are solutions focused with a ‘can do’ attitude and enjoy working in a highly collaborative way with their colleagues wanting to make a difference to peoples lives, be it internal stakeholders looking for a new hire or candidates looking for their next exciting career move. As a business we are passionate about cars and people, so having a interest in both would be ideal however the people part is a must (the car part will rub off on you in time).
Once you have settled in and gone through a good period of onboarding, you, along with your teammates will deliver a first-class candidate experience within a fast-paced recruitment function. The motor industry is ever changing, so you will need to adapt and evolve your approach to keep us at the front of the grid. You will provide your stakeholders with MI/data, up to date market trends and insights relating to the candidate market and be the SME with all things attraction. You will build the short – long term attraction plans for the divisions you support and map out the future resourcing needs for the business. At Lookers your opinions and views count meaning you will be responsible for creating resourcing campaigns, assessment centres, careers/networking events and attraction strategies.
