Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are recorded in Tally ERP 9 in real-time, enabling timely reporting.
• Prepare detailed financial statements, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheets, to provide insights into the organization's financial health.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Generate tax reports and ensure compliance with local taxation rules, helping to avoid penalties and optimize tax liabilities.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting by providing historical data and financial insights to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Oversee inventory management processes within Tally, ensuring accurate tracking of stock levels and valuations.
• Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial transactions.
• Implement and monitor financial controls to safeguard the organization's assets and ensure adherence to accounting policies.
• Provide training and support to junior accountants and staff on Tally ERP 9, enhancing team capabilities and productivity.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, providing a solid foundation for financial practices.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Tally ERP 9, showcasing proficiency in managing accounting software.
• Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or ACCA is highly desirable, highlighting advanced financial knowledge and credibility.
• Experience in the manufacturing or retail sectors is preferred, reflecting familiarity with industry-specific accounting practices.
• Fluency in English and Hindi is essential, ensuring effective communication in a diverse workplace environment.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data accurately and provide actionable insights to management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software, enhancing data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, enabling quick resolution of discrepancies and financial issues.
• Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring meticulous attention to accuracy in all financial documentation and reporting.
• Strong interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration within teams and enhancing client relationships.
