BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience within a total information technology (IT) environment
  • At least 10 years of experience with the design, development and support of technology infrastructure

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Tandem/HPE Nonstop software and utilities
  • Must have experience with Guardian OS tools and utilities, Sysgen, Clim management, Network expertise with TCPIP
  • Third party tools like Prognosis and MQ would be a plus.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Creates and integrates solutions and services.
  • Directs or recommends enhancements for system performance, reliability, scalability, and capacity.
  • Leads the configuration of hardware and software solutions.
  • Evaluates product and service solutions. Leads and develops multi-platform converged enterprise standards.
  • Models and provides solutions targeted to meet existing, enhanced, and new platform solutions for business, customer, and infrastructure services.
  • Subject matter expert in multiple hardware and software platforms.
  • Leads advanced knowledge sharing and recommendations for system hardware/software solutions, telecommunication protocols, configurations, security, network protocols, and services.
  • Develops new solutions and integrated service offerings to meet large-scale or enterprise projects or service requirements.
  • Provides senior technical leadership representing various hardware platforms and software configurations in cross-functional team.
  • Troubleshoots, resolves, and recommends improvement for systems, network, and security problems at an advanced level across multiple/converged technology solutions, services, and platforms.
  • Authors and provides input for multiple and converged systems and services, system documentation, procedures, and processes. Coordinates the maintenance and modification of systems.
  • Develops and performs capacity and resource planning to optimize and expand existing network systems.

THIS ROLE IS POSTED AS REMOTE; HOWEVER, CANDIDATES WHO ARE LOCATED NEAR ANY ONE OF OUR LOCATIONS WOULD BE REQUIRED TO WORK ON SITE AT LEAST THREE DAYS PER WEEK.
