JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and management, with experience in fine dining and catering. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, creativity in menu planning, and the ability to manage a team effectively. The Chef will oversee Tandoor station operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and service. Compensation will be determined by an individual’s experience and skill set within the relevant field.

Responsibilities.

  • Prepare and marinate all Indian tandoori dishes
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment.
  • Train and mentor kitchen helper in cooking techniques, food handling, and safety practices for kitchen to run smoothly.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Coordinate catering services and special events as required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as an Indian Tandoori Chef or in a similar culinary role within the food industry.
  • Strong background in fine dining, catering, or restaurant management.
  • Excellent cooking skills with a focus on food presentation and flavor profiles.
  • Strong leadership and solo worker (at a station) abilities with effective communication skills.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
