Job description The Security Specialist, Threat Management is responsible for the following: Operating and maintaining security solutions within their area of responsibility; Ensuring production stability and the sustainability of controls; Perform security analyses in their area of expertise. Responsibilities Evaluate, design, develop, deploy, test, and implement security capabilities and processes; Write and maintain technical documentation related to platform engineering; Provide expert support for platform-related processes; Create, maintain, and ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, frameworks, guidelines, and control standards; Support service delivery management activities for the platform. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience in the technology field, including at least 5 years in security; In-depth expertise in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), particularly Tanium; Minimum 5 years of experience in deploying and managing EDR technologies; Previous experience in EDR project or program governance; Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python; Experience in developing and maintaining tools, procedures, and documentation; In-depth understanding of security technologies and concepts; Ability to present complex solutions and methods to a non-technical audience; Security certifications are a strong asset; Team management experience is a plus; Excellent communication skills in English are required as the position involves communicating with stakeholders outside Quebec.
