• Perform inspection, evaluation, and certification of aboveground storage tanks in compliance with API 653 standards.
• Conduct visual, ultrasonic, radiographic, and other NDT tests to assess tank shell, roof, and bottom conditions.
• Verify weld quality, material integrity, thickness measurements, and corrosion rates to determine remaining life.
• Review design, repair, alteration, and reconstruction work for compliance with API, ASME, and client specifications.
• Ensure tank foundation, settlement, and floating roof components are within acceptable limits.
• Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, repair recommendations, and compliance documentation.
• Oversee and validate repairs, alterations, and hydrostatic testing during tank maintenance or reconstruction.
• Monitor and enforce safety standards, environmental compliance, and industry regulations during inspection activities.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and facility operators for scheduling inspections and implementing corrective actions.
• Stay updated with industry codes, standards, and regulatory changes (API, OSHA, NFPA, local authority guidelines).
