Contact our team of in-house Recruiters: 1-866-8-TRIMAC Pay Details Up to $32/hr(Based on experience) Schedule Monday to Friday Full Time 11:00 pm- 7:30 am (will train on day shift then transition into shift requiring need) Responsibilities Assist with preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers while utilizing personal safety equipment as required. Move trucks in and out of the shop for maintenance Open repair orders and charge the appropriate parts to the repair order Perform tire inspections/appropriate paperwork to company standards Performs shop clean-up and housekeeping responsibilities as well as other miscellaneous related duties as assigned. Inspects and maintains basic vehicle/accessorial worthiness, including proper fuel levels and tire air pressure, fluid levels, brakes, lights, and safety equipment, and submits reports indicating the condition of equipment. Possesses and demonstrates the ability to perform assigned tasks in a manner that adheres to the company's Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security policies. Qualifications Must have a valid driver’s license High School Diploma or GED 2 years of verifiable experience Trailer HM183 inspection experience required CDL-A with tanker & hazmat a plus before hire (will be required to obtain upon hire) Ability to provide own basic hand tools Basic computer skills Ability to read and comprehend service manuals Knowledge of tools and equipment used in the shop to repair and maintain company equipment A basic knowledge of tractor and trailer maintenance Knowledge of D.O.T. regulations and out-of-service parameters for tractors, trailers, and accessorial equipment.
