Job Summary
We are looking to hire an experienced and reliable Tank Truck Operator (Class 1 - TDG Fluid Hauling) as we continue to grow in the energy sector. The Tank Truck Operator will be responsible for TDG Fluid Hauling, loading and unloading production fluid, and for the transporting of products for waste disposal. NB: Must hold three years of oil and gas remote driving and be a Canadian citizen or hold permanent resident status to apply. Preference to Local and Alberta Based Applicants

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safely transporting fluids—including oil, water, and other industrial liquids—to and from various locations, in compliance with Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations
  • Operating and maintaining a Class 1 tank truck in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring all loads are secure and within weight limits
  • Performing daily inspections, routine maintenance, and minor repairs on trucks and equipment
  • Efficiently performing loading and unloading of fluids, including the use of pumps and hoses, and ensuring the accurate documentation of cargo
  • Completing a variety of safety, customer, and company e-documents, such as drivers’ e-logs, pre- and post-trip inspections, and field-level hazard assessments
  • Keeping accurate records of deliveries, mileage, hours of service, and any incidents or delays; verifying that all paperwork is completed and submitted on time

  • Drive and operate safely a variety of units (i.e. body job, tanker, super B)
  • Maintain and build client relations by providing high levels of customer service
  • Complete a variety of safety, customer and company e-documents on a daily basis such as drivers e-logs, pre/post trip inspections, and field level hazard assessments
