Job Description Position: Tanker Driver, CDL A HAZMAT Primary Location: 1580 Columbia Nitrogen Drive, Augusta, GA 30901 Schedule: Full-Time Hourly Reports To: Regional Driver Manager Compensation: $30.54 USD + bonus + benefits. The range shown reflects the targeted pay scale. Actual pay within the range depends on work location and factors such as skills, experience, and education. Tanker Driver Specific Perks Top of Line, company-maintained equipment Newer Trucks and Trailers Culture of Safety and Inclusion Free Uniforms and PPE Dedicated Dispatch Paid Orientation Support for Professional Licenses Roadside Assistance Fleet Card Program Chemtrade Benefits Highlight Booklet _Come Work With Us In This Role, You Will: Perform overnight work 2-3 nights per week Load, transfer, and unload raw product from a tanker truck Transport and unload chemicals into customers’ tanks safely and with the required paperwork Safely handle hoses during loading and unloading Perform pre and post-trip inspections Comply with all Company, Customer Federal, State, and Local laws, rules and regulations Become familiar with plant operating procedures Other duties as assigned A Successful Candidate Has: Minimum two (2) years of recent tractor/tanker experience Minimum one (1) year of recent tanker experience Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License, CDL Class A, with appropriate hazmat and tanker endorsements A clean driving record for the past three (3) years Be physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle and provide a valid medical card Be able to provide proof of experience or training to operate the type of motor vehicle used by Chemtrade safely Specific Role Responsibilities Other Duties as assigned Physical Occupational Requirements Employee must frequently sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
