Duties and Responsibilities
· Maintaining the correct stock levels on the sales floor.
· Maintaining the highest level of visual merchandising and store conditions
· Interacting with customers and identifying their needs and preferences
· Where applicable, use cash handling systems.
· Maintaining store in clean and tidy condition
· Assisting customers in locating desired shop items.
· Informing customers of shop promotions to encourage purchases.
· Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice and recommendations as needed.
· Ensuring your appointed section is never left unattended.
· Keeping sections up to standards e.g., correct pricing, clothes tags are correct, coats/jackets are zipped, ensuring all clothes are sized correctly, maintain all correct hangers are used for the right brands etc.
· Vigilant at all times to prevent theft.
· Use communication system to request sizes from the stockroom team as well as to communicate with management for any support required.
