TASTING ROOM ASSOCIATE

1365 Church Street Vineyard & Winery is looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and guest-obsessed individuals to join our tasting room team for the 2025 season (and possibly beyond!). You’ll be the face of our winery, creating memorable moments for every guest who walks through our doors, or onto our deck!

WHO YOU ARE:

We’re looking for people who are:

  • Warm, personable, and passionate about guest experience.
  • Detail-oriented and great at multitasking.
  • Professional in appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong communicators with a positive, team-first attitude.
  • Willing to roll up their sleeves and do what needs doing.
  • Flexible, reliable, and comfortable with changing priorities.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • At least 19 years of age.
  • Must love dogs! The winery has 2 dogs that are un-official greeters and we are a dog friendly venue!

Experience in hospitality, customer service, or wine is an asset, but if you’re friendly, dependable, and eager to learn, we’ll train you up!

Responsibilities

At 1365, customer satisfaction is our #1 priority. That means every guest is greeted with warmth, served with care, and thanked with genuine appreciation.

As a Tasting Room Associate, you will:

  • Create a welcoming, engaging experience for guests from the moment they arrive.
  • Deliver high-quality wine tastings following Serve Right guidelines (training provided).
  • Serve and present our small cheese & bread plates.
  • Manage point-of-sale transactions using TouchBistro.
  • Assist with private bookings and set up reserved spaces (barrel cellar, upstairs, etc.).
  • Provide general tourist information and winery knowledge to guests.
  • Keep our space beautiful and clean, wipe tables, clean surfaces, tidy bathrooms, take out garbage, and maintain cleanliness in all public areas. Other cleaning duties as assigned.
  • Monitor wine freshness, chill whites, and restock as needed.
  • Handle opening and closing duties with professionalism, including checking in/out of systems and closing tabs.
  • Work both independently and as part of a small team, supporting other departments when needed.
