Our critically acclaimed portfolio of wines are 100% estate grown, certified organic, and produced with careful attention to detail from vineyard to bottle. We have openings for highly motivated and focused individuals with a passionate desire to grow in all aspects of our retail operations at the winery.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate will have a sales focus with a positive, can-do attitude. This role will see you in the tasting/retail space on a day to day basis in conjunction with a portfolio of administrative work. This busy and varied position entails work on most weekends and holidays.This role will best suit an individual who thrives in a multi-tasking, high energy environment. You will be working directly with the Hospitality Manager and the Winery Owner.
The following skills would be of benefit and permit you to succeed in this position:
- Lead our curated Tasting Experience to provide exceptional customer service and one-on-one attention to all guests. Share our story along with the in-depth philosophy on our wines and vineyard.
-Staff the bottle shop and ensure all guests to the winery are greeted in a timely manner. Effectively and efficiently triage guests to provide the best possible experience for all visitors to the property.
-Execute our seasonal By the Glass program on the patio and outdoor areas.
-Pack orders and assist guests with check-out.
- Reviewing and reconciling day-end cash outs
- Support of direct to consumer (DTC) sales, including fulfillment of orders, processing, packing and shipping.
- Support the Wine Club/Subscription co-ordinator in the execution of bi-annual wine club shipments and subscriptions fulfillment.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the tasting room, retail shop, patio and all public areas

GENERAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITY

• Solid understanding of the Niagara wine region
• Wine Education an asset – CMS, WSET, or CAPS
• Bi-lingual (French) is an asset
• A demonstrated passion for customer service
• Comfortable with a POS system
• Attention to detail and multitask efficiently
• Must be available to work weekends
• Smart Serve required
• Ability to lift 35lbs and able to stand for long hours
  Due to the location of the winery, it is required that you have your own transportation.
  Job Type: Full-time
  Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
