Barons Creek Vineyards is looking for a Manager located in the DFW area . This is a full time position working Thursdays - Mondays. The Manger must lead by example, through sales, wine club sign ups, and overall knowledge about our wine and company. We are looking for an outgoing, friendly and professional demeanor that is able to interact easily with our customers and vendors as well as other staff and other departments of our company.

The Position

• Required to attend Weekly Company wide Monday Morning Meetings.
• Responsible for preparing and posting staff schedule 2 weeks in advance
• Responsible for planning and executing store events. Including but not limited to: wine club pick up parties, scheduling musicians, and private events.
• Responsible for Managing and responding to the store email. A company Laptop will be provided
• Conduct food inventory and place weekly orders for the kitchen
• Conduct weekly wine inventory of the store
• Effectively assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support.
• Conducting regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Communicating clearly and concisely with team members, stakeholders, and upper management.
• Responsible for the consistent delivery of excellent customer service
• Contribute to a positive and productive team environment
• Conduct wine tastings, Sell wine and wine club memberships
• Assist with opening and closing, and restocking of wine and merchandise.

The Candidate

• Genuinely interested in learning about wine or has prior wine knowledge
• Outstanding ability to connect with customers
• Proven customer service track record in a retail or hospitality environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays with overtime occasionally being required
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs cases of wine to stock merchandise and wine
• Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail
