JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Tasting Room Manager to lead our tasting room operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and hospitality industry, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience while tasting our products.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 year experience in the hospitality sector, preferably in a management role within a restaurant or tasting room environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to food handling and preparation.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor; ability to engage with guests effectively.
  • Bartending experience is a plus, along with familiarity in wine or beverage service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to achieve operational goals.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the tasting room, ensuring a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for all guests.
  • Train, supervise, and motivate tasting room staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Develop and implement tasting room programs that enhance guest experiences, including beer or product tastings, educational events, and tours.
  • Manage inventory levels of food and beverage offerings, ensuring compliance with food handling regulations and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and special offerings through various channels.
  • Handle customer inquiries and feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the tasting room area, adhering to all health regulations.
