JOB SUMMARY: The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of production workers to fulfill orders from Customer Service. This role assumes full accountability for achieving production targets, maintaining food safety and product quality, ensuring safe operations, and fostering team development. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned. * Inspect products to ensure conformance with specifications and direct machine setup and adjustments. * Communicate company policies to employees and enforce safety regulations. * Interpret job orders and assign duties to production staff. * Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules efficiently. * Recommend improvements in production methods, equipment performance, and product quality. * Suggest changes to working conditions or equipment usage to enhance departmental efficiency. * Analyze and resolve work-related issues or assist employees in problem-solving. * Develop and implement motivational plans to achieve production goals; maintain time and production records. * Estimate, requisition, and inspect necessary materials. * Coordinate activities with other supervisors to ensure smooth departmental operations. * Perform tasks as required to support production staff. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Supervise and train employees to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. * Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback. * Develop an annual educational and development plan for each employee based on individual needs. * Conduct annual personnel evaluations and set performance goals. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: * High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Hours: 5:30am - 3:30pm
