Aston Carter is looking to hire a Tax Accountant based in Omaha, NE! This position offers competitive pay with a top company in the area. Job Description: Prepare and file sales and use tax returns across multiple jurisdictions (state and local). Reconcile tax accounts and ensure accurate general ledger entries related to indirect taxes. Research and interpret state and local tax laws to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities. Assist with tax audits, including gathering documentation, responding to inquiries, and liaising with auditors. Maintain and update tax rates, exemption certificates, and jurisdictional requirements in ERP systems. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, procurement, legal) to ensure proper tax treatment of transactions. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance 1-3 years of experience in corporate tax Sales & Use tax knowledge would be plus If interested, please apply below!
