Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance or other closely related field
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in tax, preferably in a consulting or tax administrative environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Has obtained or working towards obtaining a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Master’s degree in taxation, accounting, or finance
• Working knowledge of income tax accounting
• Prior experience with tax software applications including Vertex, OneSource Tax Compliance, tax research products (Checkpoint and/or BNA)
• Experience with SAP, Analysis for Office, Power BI, or Citrix

Knowledge and Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and promote team approach
• Demonstrates ability to analyze and solve problems
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize work and handle multiple responsibilities
• General working knowledge of local tax law and regulations for a variety of taxes including sales and use tax, property tax, and income tax
