An exciting position for an experienced accountant/tax consultant looking for growth opportunities to join the Taxlink team. Within this role you will be required to prepare bookkeeping files, individual tax returns, business activity statements and assist our senior accountants with managing SME clients & SMSF clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Commenced IPA/CA/CPA program or enrolled is preferred but not essential
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in an accounting firm
  -Knowledge of accounting & bookkeeping processes

Experience:

• tax returns: 2 years (Required

• Must have experience in Payroll
• Must have experience in bookkeeping
• Clear succession to be a manager
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong experience in preparing individual tax returns
• Prepare Business activity statements (BAS)
• Able to communicate with clients and the ATO
• Experienced with Microsoft excel
• Experienced with accounting software’s - preferably Sage Handisoft
• Basic level understanding of tax compliance for individuals and small businesses
• Well organised and can work in a team environment
• Willing to increase knowledge and adapt to changes in regulations
• Provide business services for clients

  Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 21 – 35 per week
