JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tax-related activities, financial reconciliations, and supporting audits. This role requires strong expertise in tax laws, IFRS accounting standards, and financial regulations in the Middle East, with a preference for candidates experienced in the electronics industry.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Financial Management, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • ACCA, CMA, or MBA certification is preferred.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and IFRS accounting standards applicable in the Middle East.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 years of financial-related work experience.
  • At least 1 year of financial experience in the electronics industry is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Review and finalize employee reimbursements and external payment documents from all departments.
  • Prepare and submit the monthly account balance reconciliation between the Tax system and internal management system.
  • Reconcile local inventory records between the Tax system and internal management system.
  • Establish and maintain a tax invoice receivable ledger, track uncollected tax invoices, and ensure timely collection.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax declaration requirements.
  • Review all tax invoices and accounting transactions in the Tax system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist the supervisor in the preparation and completion of annual audits.
  • Support supervisors in completing tax audits and other related financial matters.
