JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of tax preparation experience, with strong proficiency in QuickBooks and a solid understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on tax accounting experience
• Proficiency with QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. tax code and accounting principles
• Enrolled Agent (preferred but not required)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Chinese/English bilingual is a preferred

• Prepare and review individual, corporate and partnership tax returns
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Assist in tax planning and strategy for clients
• Analyze financial data and identify tax-saving opportunities
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in QuickBooks
• Communicate with clients regarding tax matters, notices, and filing requirements
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
• Collaborate with other team members during tax season and throughout the year
