Join a dynamic hospitality group as a skilled Tax Accountant to manage tax compliance, reporting, and optimisation across multiple entities. This role offers the opportunity to apply your Australian tax expertise in a fast-paced, multi-site environment, collaborating with finance and operations teams to deliver accurate and strategic outcomes. Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws, including GST, income tax, and other relevant tax obligations. Prepare accurate financial and tax-related reports in line with Australian standards. Develop and implement tax strategies to optimise financial performance and minimise tax liabilities. Manage, prepare, and file tax returns and all required legislative documents on time. Assist in tax audits by providing detailed documentation, reconciliations, and auditor support. Maintain organised, complete, and compliant tax records for all hospitality entities. Monitor expenses related to tax compliance and identify opportunities for cost efficiency. Stay up to date with changes in Australian tax regulations and communicate relevant updates to the business. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of Australian tax regulations. Proficiency in accounting software, Australian tax software, and Microsoft Office (Excel essential). Experience using NetSuite or similar accounting/ERP systems is preferred. Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent English communication and problem-solving skills.
