POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our tax compliance and reporting processes, ensuring adherence to all relevant tax regulations while providing insightful tax analysis to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns and related schedules
  • Analyze K-1 forms and ensure accurate reporting of partnership income
  • Conduct tax analysis to identify opportunities for tax savings and compliance improvement
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support SOX compliance initiatives
  • Assist in the implementation of ASC 740 for tax provision purposes
  • Utilize Power BI to create visual reports and dashboards for tax data analysis
  • Employ Alteryx for data processing and automation of tax-related tasks
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may affect the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in tax analysis or compliance
  • Strong understanding of K-1 forms and tax implications
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and ASC 740 requirements
  • Proficient in data visualization tools such as Power BI
  • Experience with data analysis and automation tools like Alteryx
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
