POSITION OVERVIEW
The Tax Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the organization’s tax-related responsibilities, including Federal and multi-state tax return compliance, FAS 109 quarterly and year-end financial analysis, and tax audits. This position assists with effective tax rate analysis, tax planning projects, and ensures adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
Key responsibilities include preparing and filing accurate tax reports in line with current legislation, managing VAT refunds, provisional income tax payments, withholding tax for income and VAT, and handling tax payments related to foreign transactions. The Tax Analyst also provides guidance on VAT-related inquiries and supports the tax team on various projects. Additionally, the role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to monitor changes in tax laws, keeping both local and global teams informed of any potential compliance issues to meet governmental filing and internal deadlines effectively.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Responsible of tax work papers and the preparation of federal income tax returns, VAT, withholding income tax and VAT, managing the tax return processing function, i.e., the process after completion of the return through filing, including preparation of completed paper or electronic tax forms (information returns, estimates and payments and reports etc.) for submission, retention, storage, and retrieval of prepared returns and supporting information, and certified delivery to tax authorities. All of them supervised, approved and advised by Accounting Manager ,GBS Finance Director and external advisors
