POSITION SUMMARY: As a Tax Associate you will be part of a team that works in a collaborative, challenging, and supportive environment. You will be responsible for preparing tax work papers, Federal and state tax returns, and internal reporting using Excel workbooks and Boston Financial proprietary software. You will serve as a primary contact for Federal and state taxing authorities as well as others across various company functional groups using your strong communication and problem-solving skills to gather information, address questions, and provide the highest quality service and deliverables. In addition, you will have some tax accounting responsibilities and be responsible for various projects. This position is located at the Boston Financial headquarters in Boston, MA. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Meet Investor Service and Investor Limited Partner deliverable requirements, including, providing accurate draft tax return/K1 info during tax season pursuant to an agreed-upon due date schedule for approximately 150 funds. Prepare tax work papers including partnership allocations and tax basis capital schedules, and maintain our information database. Prepare Federal and state partnership and corporate tax returns, including state apportionment information for approximately 400 entities, including approximately 2,200 state filings. Due to the dynamic and cyclical nature of the responsibilities of this position, individuals in this role must be flexible with the ability to work overtime, as required. Travel required:
