Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Tax Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting regulatory deliverables including tax calculation, payment, and reporting across multiple jurisdictions. You will perform reconciliation, reporting, and risk management functions in relation to these regulatory requirements. Your role will also involve oversight of the vendor team and performing due diligence on critical process elements. Your contributions will ensure timely submission of regulatory reporting and payments to multiple tax authorities.

  • Support several tax reconciliation and processing functions to ensure accurate charges for both Firm and Clients
  • Provide risk management oversight to proactively identify risks, escalate issues, and outline resolutions
  • Ensure payment and regulatory reporting provided to tax authorities is accurate and submitted within prescribed deadlines
  • Actively monitor and review reclaims issued to tax authorities to positively impact Firm cashflow
  • Perform due diligence checks in assessing client entitlements to tax exemptions
  • Take ownership for the resolution of firm and client related queries
